Bill Dunham

Principal, Oracle ACE Pro

Bill is the founder and principal owner of OATC, Inc. He is a very well known Oracle Applications and Technology consultant, having worked with Oracle products since 1985, and Oracle EBS Applications since 1991. His extensive experience with EBS Apps (on-premise and cloud) and Technology has made him a trusted adviser to many clients throughout the US and Europe. Bill has worked in many IT and project capacities over the years, mostly focusing as a Program/Project Manager, Architect, Technical/Functional Lead, QA Manager and client advocate.

Bill has presented papers at many local and regional Oracle Application and Technology Users Group (OATUG) events and at Oracle OpenWorld (OOW). Bill has authored articles for OAUG INSIGHT magazine, as well as co-authored books, “Special Edition Using Oracle Applications” and “Special Edition Using Oracle 11i.” and has co-authored a new book series called Oracle EBS StreetSmarts®.

Bill has designed, developed and authored papers on the “CRP Method” for enterprise application projects. This method focuses on critical and core project activities all while reducing project costs and focusing on client success.

Bill is a member of the Oracle EBS Applications Technology Customer Advisory Board (CAB) for Oracle Corporation, Director on the OATUG Board of Directors (serving as OATUG President 2021) until 2023, OATUG President Elect (2023), OATUG President 2024, Board Member of ECO “East Coast Oracle”, Coordinator for ESOATUG, OATUG C&A SIG Chair, OATUG Cloud ERP SIG board member, and Oracle ACE Pro since 2013.

Michael Barone

Oracle Architect, EBS DBA, Oracle ACE Pro

Michael is an Oracle E-Business Suite Database Administrator with 25+ years of IT experience and 16+ years of Oracle Applications DBA experience, including RAC (Real Application Cluster), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and Oracle Applications (EBS – on-premise and cloud). Contributing author of many of the OATC StreetSmarts® books.

Michael’s experience includes full cycle installations and upgrades, as well as installation, administration, upgrade and development of Oracle relational databases. Most recently, Michael has installed, set up, upgraded and administered the production, test, and development databases for major international organizations, federal, state, and local government agencies, and manufacturers of hospital equipment, oil-and-gas distribution, automotive subassemblies, landscape equipment, diesel engines, jet engine turbine blades, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, aluminum, concrete, wire and steel products. Michael specializes in upgrading existing Oracle Databases and Oracle Applications and has extensive experience with hot/cold E-Business Suite cloning and backup/restore/disaster-recovery. Michael is also an Oracle ACE Pro, receiving this distinction in November 2017.

Ken Carpenter

Ken is an applications consultant specializing in Human Capital Management who has over 30 years experience in developing applications on mainframes, PC based, and client/server platforms.  Since 1998, his primary focus has been on the Oracle E-Business Suite applications, both on-prem and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).  Using his functional skills and his extensive knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite architecture, he has managed, led, and/or provided functional expertise for 40+ projects ranging from new implementations and upgrades, to enhancements and custom applications for clients as small as fifty people to well over 10,000 people.

Ken has considerable experience in the Public Sector realm having worked with numerous city, county, and state governments, public universities, and the United Nations.  In addition, he has a wide range of private sector clients from major IT firms, to the steel industry, manufacturing, retail, and automotive.

Ken has been an active member of the Oracle Applications and Technology User Group (OATUG) serving on the board of the local Gulf Region OATUG, as the Chairperson of the Financial Analyzer SIG, as a member of Affiliate Oversight Committee (AOC), and delivering many presentations at the user group meetings.  He has strong relationships with Oracle HCM support representatives and is well connected in the Oracle community having developed lasting partnerships that contribute to the success of his clients’ projects.  Ken has conducted end user training for Oracle University and for each of his clients as needed for a smooth transition to new technology.

Ken has travelled extensively for work and pleasure.  He has visited 15 countries and all but 3 states.  He is an avid roller coaster rider who recently rode 50 coasters in 5 states over the span of 2 weeks.
